VBAS Archery Team Competes at the Alabama Archery State Tournament

  Our VBAS Archery Team competed in the Alabama State Archery Tournament in Dothan on Saturday, August 11th.  They represented us well with Scott Mayer and Derek Hill taking first place in their divisions.  Prince Stokes was third in his division.  Way to go guys !!

We didn’t have to travel to the “islands” to enjoy a luau at VBAS !!  Friday, June 22, our LEA department had a day of luau snacks and water events.  “Rain in the sunshine” was provided by our new portable splashpad .

Succulent Workshop in the VBAS Greenhouse

Wednesday, June 20, VBAS Greenhouse Manager, Starla Andrews and Sandy Smith hosted the first in a series of community workshops in the greenhouse on the VBAS campus.  Eleven participants created strawberry pot succulent gardens and were given instruction on their care.  Watch for more of these informative and entertaining workshops in the future.
