We didn’t have to travel to the “islands” to enjoy a luau at VBAS !!  Friday, June 22, our LEA department had a day of luau snacks and water events.  “Rain in the sunshine” was provided by our new portable splashpad .

Succulent Workshop in the VBAS Greenhouse

Wednesday, June 20, VBAS Greenhouse Manager, Starla Andrews and Sandy Smith hosted the first in a series of community workshops in the greenhouse on the VBAS campus.  Eleven participants created strawberry pot succulent gardens and were given instruction on their care.  Watch for more of these informative and entertaining workshops in the future.

Ready to Ride !

  Thanks to Wiregrass United Way we are ready to ride….anywhere anytime !  Money from the Challenge Grant provided our new fifteen passenger mini-bus.  This vehicle will enable us to take trips with small groups.  Watch for us around the area !
