Monday night was a great opportunity to review the past year at Adams School and get a peek at the upcoming year. We welcomed individuals, their friends and families and community members to the campus.
A slide show of our year in review ran continuously during the evening. Updates were reported on :
- Our tunnel house project by Mr. James Currington, WRC&D, and Professor Khan, Tuskegee Institute. Our future is looking green !!
- Claybank 5K and FunRun opportunities
- A reminder that individuals who are absent, come in late or leave earlier affect our “bottom line”….
Our director, Hannah Parker, recognized Mrs. Cheryl Bell for her 40 years of dedicated service. Cheryl continues each day to brighten the future for her students. Mrs. Quida Outlaw was recognized for her contributions to VBAS, she will be retiring at the end of September. New employees, Deborah Wyzlic and Paul Simmons were introduced.
As always, a delicious hotdog supper was one of the highlights of the evening !
We are looking forward to a great year !!!!
