The Boy Scouts of Troop 126

The Boy Scouts from Vivian B. Adams School, Troop 126, held Summer Camp from the 6^th through the 11^th of June at the school this year.  Those participating were Mr. Bill Meyer – Scoutmaster; Tony Walker – Junior Assistant Scoutmaster; Josh Albritton – Assistant Scoutmaster;  (Indian Patrol) Cliff Peterson – Star Scout; Daniel Gullion – 1^st Class Scout; Lewitt Wheelock – Star Scout; J. J. Lightel – Assistant Scoutmaster; (Bobcat Patrol) Charles Ammons – Star Scout; Charles Smith – Star Scout; and Josh Stokes – Tenderfoot Scout.  The scouts worked on lashings (using 1×2 inch boards and ropes); Carpentry Merit Badge (building obstacles and frame for a putt-putt course); Signaling Merit Badge (using signal flags); Gardening Merit Badge (making planter boxes); and shooting (using a BB Gun Pistol).  These scouts each worked hard and cooked their own supper meals and a desert with the close supervision of adult leaders.
